Your weekly round-up of news from around our wonderful Golden Apples Family nurseries is here!
FLOWER POWER!
The Beacon, Rendlesham
Pre-School looked at all the different parts of flowers. The children enjoyed taking the flowers apart and matching up all the different parts to the picture on their paper.
We talked about how each part had a special role to keep the flower alive.
LITTLE PETALS!
The babies enjoyed exploring flowers, too, developing their sense of touch and smell.
We then pretended to plant them in the pots provided.
HAPPY HELPERS!
This week our theme in Pre-School is all about people who help us. We spoke about different people in various helpful roles, using the shapes to help us organise them.
WELL-BEING WONDERS!
The Appletree, Attleborough
As part of our staff Well-Being Week, each room had a different colour theme – which meant green treats (and threads!) for Bramley Room, pink goodies for Russets and yellow yummies for Pippins.
What a fantastic idea, teams!
MIXING IT UP!
Head Start, Ramsey
A lovely week at Pre-School was all about pancakes – and daffodils!
The children enjoyed exploring the tuff tray with lemon-scented play-dough, lemon slices and cooking tools.
They then ate the pancakes and fruit for their snack and, with the choice of syrup, lemon and sugar to go on top.
We also made our own pancakes with the play-dough and explored lemons, smelling them and tasting them – super sour! The children also painted some lovely pictures of daffodils.
CONSTRUCTION CLASS!
The Cornerstone, Martlesham
The children were building for a purpose recently, constructing and designing their own bridges.
Great work, children!
